Now my all time favorite anime. FLCL uses giant fighting robots as a metaphor for teenage angst, and the sudden rush of hormones as we hit puberty. The writing is solid, the animation style is like nothing I’ve ever seen before, and the voice acting is surprisingly well done. WATCH THIS SERIES.
